🌙 My First Visit to Mohammad Ali Road — A Night Drenched in Lights, Flavors, and Unforgettable Memories -By: Suman

Image
Some nights are meant to be lived, not planned. And that’s exactly how my first-ever visit to Mohammad Ali Road happened — unplanned, unfiltered, unforgettable. It wasn’t a grand idea or a long-awaited trip. It was a simple, impulsive plan that turned into one of those rare nights that stay in your heart long after they’ve ended. 🕌 The Beginning — A Random Plan That Changed the Night It was one of those lazy weekends — Mumbai air heavy with humidity, and the fan spinning just enough to keep us from melting. My roommate and I were lying on our beds, scrolling through reels, half bored and half hungry. And then it happened — that one reel. A street bursting with lights, kebabs sizzling, people smiling, hands passing plates through laughter. The caption read: “Mohammad Ali Road — the heart of Mumbai after sunset.” We both froze. He looked up and said, “Bhai, chalte hai? Abhi ke abhi?” I laughed, thinking he was joking. He wasn’t. Within minutes, the laziness vanished. We f...

Cut, Clean, Conquer — The Science of High-Pressure Jetting

The spark (or rather — the jet) High-pressure water-jetting looks deceptively simple: water out of a nozzle. But behind that ribbon of liquid is careful science — pressures from a few hundred to tens of thousands of bar, engineered nozzles, safety systems, and skilled operators. When used correctly, water jetting cleans, strips, deburrs, and even slices metal — with less dust, fewer chemicals, and far less thermal damage than many alternatives. Where it shines Heat exchangers & boilers: remove scale and fouling without dismantling assemblies. Industrial surface prep: paint and coating removal for superior metal prep. Pipe & tube cleaning: fast, grit-free descaling and hydro blasting of internal bores. Cutting and demolition: abrasive waterjet cutting for thick metals, and pure-water jetting for softer materials. Soaking pits and sludge removal: breaks emulsions and flushes viscous deposits. How it actually works (plain English) The pump pressurizes w...

I liked this book.Readers can gain knowledge of what it was like to be in spiritual anatomy. One of the things that was especially interesting was that there very sequential pace of time in between past and present. Also, there was a big contrast between the rich and the poor. Some people may not like this book because it is very depressing, but it is an important event in history to remember. This book was very well written. It has along with descriptions of the photos. These photos give us a better idea of what people's lives were like. This book is suitable for every age. A full choosen of hugely relatable characters populate The Heights. Saurabh ji is best known for his young psychological writing, but we find his adult crime fiction much more appealing. Saurabh ji’s latest standalone crime psychological thriller, but the main one, the mover and shaker at the heart of all that transpires, It’s the season when all the crime, mystery, and thriller awards are just about in. It felt immense pleasure to get opportunity to read such masterpiece. Author is Path finder in the field of crime suspense stories. The main protogonist and each and every character is very precisely chosen and very carefully portrayed. I would like to recommend the read to each and every avid reader.   Link to buy: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/939044151X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Meet Mumbai's Kallu Who's Dedicated His Life To Helping the Dead By Retrieving Bodies For A Living

Image
We come across people who go out of their way to help people in life. But, Mohammad Sharafat Hussain has been going of his way to help people, even in their death.   For the past 20 years, Hussain has been helping the people of Mumbai, including the Mumbai Police and the municipal authorities to recover dead bodies from drains and wells. In fact, so dedicated he is to this job that he has also, over time, become the man for the job, when authorities need bodies retrieved. From entering narrow gutters deftly, to jumping into canals, Kallu, as Hussain is popular known as, has been to the filthiest and dreariest of places in his lifetime, in search of bodies. Even the putrid stench that stays long after he is out of the area, does not keep him from doing his job; one which most cannot even imagine doing.  Over the years, Kallu is said to have retrieved over 200 bodies from Mumbai's Mithi River. Talking about the amount of practice it takes to g...

44 Days Of Hell – The murder story of Junko Furuta

Image
Junko Furuta was a 16 year old Japanese girl who underwent 44 days of rape and torture before dying in the hands of her captors on November 22, 1989. Known throughout Japan as concrete-encased high school girl, the case of Junko Furuta drew nationwide attention owing to sheer brutality the girl had to endure before death found her. Junko Furuta Story: Junko Furuta attended a high school in Misato, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She was a good looking, active teenager who enjoyed a lot of attention and that made some people jealous. She did not smoke, did not drink alcohol and did not do drugs which was seen as very uncool in the eyes of more gangster like teens. One of them – Hiroshi Miyano had a crush on her but not looking for a relationship, Junko Furuta turned him down. Hiroshi Miyano was the bully in the school and being involved with the new generations of the Yakuza, nobody dared to oppose him. And Junko Furuta had the nerve to say “No”… On November 25, 1988 ...

Is it possible to fall for someone you have never met ?

Image
In my third year of engineering I met a random girl on Facebook. We met in the comment box of a common post. I commented on some image and she replied to that. I continued and soon it became a thread. More people started joining and that disturbed the one-on-one comment streak of us. So, I decided to stop and closed my Facebook. Later that night I got a friend request from her. It was a bit shocking as she seemed a bit popular girl from likes on her pics and the number of friends she had. Anyway, I accepted the request followed by a hi in the inbox. She responded pretty fast and said she loved that comment streak. I reciprocated with equal interest and asked if she wanted to continue that in the inbox. Honestly speaking I didn’t know what else to talk to her. She rejected the proposal and changed the course of conversation. By the time, I opened her profile and found out she’s from Delhi and in second year of her B.tech in EcE . She is really cute and seems funny as pe...

Science proves that love is blind

Image
Scientists have shown that there is a degree of truth in the old adage that love is blind.  They have found that feelings of love lead to a suppression of activity in the areas of the brain controlling critical thought. It seems that once we get close to a person, the brain decides the need to assess their character and personality is reduced. The study, by University College London, is published in NeuroImage. The researchers found that both romantic love and maternal love produce the same effect on the brain. They suppress neural activity associated with critical social assessment of other people and negative emotions. The UCL team scanned the brains of 20 young mothers while they viewed pictures of their own children, children they were acquainted with, and adult friends. The team found that the patterns of brain activity were very similar to those identified in an earlier study looking at the effects of romantic love. Both studies recorded increased activity in parts ...

Being Vishnu.

Image
Viṣṇu is one of the principal deities of Hinduism, and the Supreme Being or absolute truth in its Vaishnavism tradition. Vishnu is the "preserver" in the Hindu triad (Trimurti) that includes Brahma and Shiva. I met him yesterday in my office bus. I was in hurry to step in, and suddenly someone wished me in cheerful voice. I was completely wondered to found him in front of me. Lastly we have met some two years ago at a mobile shop. He was from my senior batch during school days. i felt completely full of gratitude to see a familiar face in the ocean full of unknown. His kind gesture has taught me a very cheerful lesson of life, that is you can win every barrier towards success through your verbal and smile.  VISHNU BHAI , thank you so much for keeping an unbiased and unforgotten impact on my life.    Life is far too short to settle for things you do not want. Whether it be books, food, a bad relationship, or the wrong life: Don’t settle for something you do not e...

Done With Her...: A revelation that stabs at your subconscious by Chirasree Bose

Image
This story has everything from love, lust, hate, dominance, obsession, sex, police chases, drug lords, violence, abuse, deceit, betrayal and most of all survival. Know one understood the power that Chirasree controlled over reader's heart. A Spell some would say that could not be broken. An addiction I would say. In the beginning the motivation behind writing the book Loving The Addict was a jotting down in a journal as self therapy to cope with what happened to me. and was used to help me deal with the abuse that had occurred in my life. This is a fascinating story, published purposefully and directly from the author's diary just as it had been written. The author is a natural trained writer and the book is one of her best literary work. Her diary was her only solace in terrible times and the story would not be as powerful or poignant if it had been edited to perfection. To those who do not understand this from the outset, please do not allow yourself to judge the book by tra...
