Complex relationship between readers and writers

People started to write as soon as they developed their written languages, because they wanted to express their thoughts and share them with others. Today, in order to write well, the writer needs to read a lot. Every writer needs to know the certain kind of audience for his craft. What some people can find interesting may not be for others, because people have different levels of thinking and different interests. Some writers write for general patronage, others for children to appreciate, and there are some writers who write for certain subjects that require deep knowledge, like scientific research, political science, and more complex essays. Writing is a process of putting all thoughts together, whether it is a researched study or just plain comments about certain topics. A writer must be effective in delivering his thoughts, and his audience must appreciate or show a reaction toward his work, if they do that which he is expecting them to do. The writer is the one who communicates h...

adolescents in love

Friends from our  childhood  or  adolescence are special, no matter how much time has elapsed between visits. These compelling connections are the result of shared roots during the formative years. Our childhood friends and teenage sweethearts experienced with us all the wonderful, horrible, boring, and embarrassing moments that helped to make us who we are today. Yet, when children are young,  parents  may regard these relationships as insignificant. If the family must move to a new community and the children's close friends must be left behind, so what? They will make new friends, the parents assure them. But, is a friend as interchangeable as a new toy for an old one, or is there more to  friendship  than that? Why are we so elated to rediscover long lost friends in our adult years if, as some parents believe, they were so dispensable to us as children? Even more belittled by many parents is a teenager's (or preteen's)  love  for a b...

“My after school experiences”

My entry into a college after I had completed my school education was an important event in my life. I felt very much excited on the very first day. I found that there is a great difference between school and college life. The world of the school is narrow and limited. The world of the college is large. Teachers in a school are strict and use the rod to beat the boys very frequently. College teachers are like elder brothers. Most of the teachers in a college live in the world of ideas and books. We have students of all kinds in a college. They discuss the current affairs, art, cinema and sports. Some of them neglect text books but they do not miss the daily newspaper or the running commentary of a cricket match going on in some part of the world. Some of them would even engage the teachers in class in a political topic and discuss it fully. There is a lot of freedom in the collage in the school I was busy from the first period to the last. But in the collage I attend classes for ...
